You build and test high-tech machines used worldwide
Do you want to work on innovative process installations for the food industry? At OMVE Lab & Pilot Equipment, you are responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing high-quality pilot and R&D installations used worldwide by leading food companies, universities, and research institutions.

What will you be doing?

  • Wiring, assembling, and finalizing control cabinets and machine installations based on electrical schematics and drawings.

  • Identifying deviations and contributing ideas for technical improvements and optimizations.
  • Supporting the Service department with electrotechnical issues.
  • Collaborating with Engineering on technical changes or improvements.
  • Ensuring a safe, tidy, and organized workplace.

Who will you be working with?

You will be part of an experienced and committed production team. In addition, you will regularly collaborate with colleagues from Engineering, Testing, and Service. Through this collaboration, you will be closely involved in the entire construction process of our machines, from assembly to final testing.

What do you bring?

  • MBO-4 working and thinking level in the field of Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar. Experience reading electrical schematics.
  • Preferably experience in machine building, panel building, or industrial installations.
  • Good command of the Dutch language and preferably also the English language.
  • A precise and quality-oriented work attitude.
  • Solution-oriented thinking and the ability to work independently.
  • Interest in technology and continuous improvement.
  • Residing within a 50 km radius of De Meern, Utrecht.

What do we offer you?

  • An informal, technical work environment with short lines of communication.
  • A lot of freedom and responsibility.
  • An immediate one-year contract, with the prospect of permanent employment.
  • A salary in which you can grow to €4,500 gross per month (full-time), depending on your experience, technical knowledge, and contribution to the team.
  • 25 vacation days + 13 ADV days (full-time).
  • A solid pension scheme (PMT) in accordance with the Metalworking Industry Collective Labour Agreement.
