The add-on Direct Steam Injection system with flash tank
Direct steam injection (DSI) requires very precise control of the steam injected into the product to ensure a precise temperature. In the flash tank, the product is rapidly cooled under vacuum. The flash tank pump then pumps the product further through the system.
OMVE has designed a fully hygienic DSI system with a flash tank that offers a high degree of automation for very user-friendly operation. This unit can be added to an existing UHT system.
The system can be fully controlled by the HT220 or HT320 system. The nominal capacity ranges from 20 l/h to 200 l/h.
