Do you want to work in a growing and creative (international) environment with a pleasant and informal company atmosphere? Then you can look forward to a valuable career at OMVE Lab & Pilot Equipment. Our company moves within a global playing field and does this with a small dynamic and dedicated team.
For our location in De Meern we are looking for a colleague for the position of:
Test Engineer – International Service Engineer
What will you do?
As a Test – International Service Engineer you are part of our Service team. You are responsible for installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance of process equipment and testing the machines that OMVE is about to deliver to the customer.
After testing, the customer is invited to our office for a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), where they can see and try out the machines before they are delivered. As a Test – International Service Engineer, you will supervise this process. If the machines are accepted by the customer, an appointment is made to commission the equipment at the customer’s premises and train the users.
Of course, the machines also need to be maintained. You will resolve malfunctions on site, if they cannot be resolved remotely. You will also support customer service by speaking to customers about incoming questions and malfunctions/problems.
Often you are on location for a few days, this can also be abroad. You are away from home for a maximum of two weeks. On average this concerns about 50% of your working time. So nice traveling, but at home on the weekends.
What will you do?
What are we offering?
A pleasant and dynamic working environment in which you are given responsibility and space to take initiatives. You will immediately receive a one-year contract and – if both parties are satisfied – an agreement for an indefinite period will follow. You will receive a good salary (depending on experience). And there is plenty of room for a personal development and a training plan. You have 25 vacation days and 13 ADV days (with full-time employment) and a solid pension scheme (PMT) in accordance with the Metalworking Industry Collective Labor Agreement.
Who are we?
OMVE is the market leader in designing and manufacturing advanced pilot and R&D process equipment for the food industry. OMVE supplies more than 150 machines per year for a wide variety of applications to leading multinationals worldwide.
