HR Advisor (Part-Time)

As an HR Advisor at OMVE, you’ll be a key point of contact for both managers and employees when it comes to HR policy, development, and personnel matters. With your expertise and people-first mindset, you’ll help us build a future-ready organisation.

Together with our HR team, you’ll work on themes such as talent development, sustainable employability, absenteeism management, and company culture. You’ll have plenty of space to take initiative and further professionalise our HR processes.

What will you be doing?

In this part-time role, you’ll combine strategic and tactical HR advice with a hands-on approach. Alongside our current HR Advisor, you’ll support absenteeism cases, training policy, and staff development—while keeping an eye on the daily realities of a growing company.

Your responsibilities include:

• Daily HR support – Be the go-to person for employees with HR-related questions.
• Recruitment & Selection – Oversee the hiring process for new team members. Maintain relationships with technical schools, universities, and recruitment agencies.
• Onboarding & Introduction – Guide the onboarding process in close collaboration with team leaders from various departments.
• Training & Career Development – Internal Academy – Our in-house academy supports knowledge sharing, technical growth, and personal development. You’ll co-develop training programs with team leaders and the management team.
• Compensation & Benefits – Manage salary processing, reimbursements, and advise on our salary structure.
• Health, Safety & Wellbeing – Support absenteeism cases and contribute to initiatives around prevention and sustainable employability.
• Labour Law & Compliance – Apply relevant legislation and our collective labour agreement (CAO), provide legal advice, draft employment contracts, and update them when needed.

You’ll enjoy 25 vacation days and 13 additional days off (ADV) on a full-time basis, along with a solid pension scheme (PMT), in line with the Dutch Collective Labour Agreement for the Metalworking Industry (CAO Metaalbewerkingsbedrijf).
