For our location in De Meern, we are looking for a colleague for the position of:

Electrical Engineer (Medior, 32 – 40 hours p/w)

 

What will you be doing?

As an Electrical Engineer, you are responsible for designing and developing electrical installations for our machines. You work closely with software engineers, mechanical engineers, and project leaders, among others, and have a direct line to the Electrical Assembly department. You are involved from concept to realization. Specifically, you will be involved in:

  • Designing and developing electrical schematics and installations
  • Drafting technical specifications and bills of materials for procurement
  • Maintaining complete and well-organized technical dossiers
  • Coordinating with other disciplines within projects
  • Contributing ideas regarding technical solutions and design optimizations
  • Providing support during execution regarding changes or technical issues
  • Applying relevant CE, UL, and CSA standards within electrical design
  • Maintaining standards for electrical designs and documentation
  • Supporting the commissioning and validation of machines
  • Continuously improving designs and developing standards

 

Who will you be working with and on what?

You will collaborate in a multidisciplinary team of engineers within an international context. The machines for which you develop software are used worldwide in the food industry, often by large multinationals. This means complex systems, high demands on reliability, and a great deal of technical variety.

 

What do you bring?

  • Higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level, in the field of electrical engineering or industrial automation
  • Demonstrable relevant work experience within industrial environments
  • Good command of Dutch and English
  • Preferences:
    • Knowledge of UL/CSA and/or ATEX directives
    • Knowledge of medium and low voltage installations
    • Experience within the food or process industry

  • A salary in which you, as a mid-level professional, can grow to €5,000 gross per month (full-time). We base this on your applicable experience.
