You work both in our modern test facility in De Meern and at customers all over the world. No day is the same: one moment you are performing tests in our test room, the next you are setting up an installation at an international customer.

For our location in De Meern, we are looking for a colleague for the position of:

Industrial Field Service Engineer (Medior, 40 hours p/w)

What will you be doing?

As an International Field Service Engineer, you are responsible for testing, installing, maintaining, and optimizing our process installations. Specifically, you will be involved in:

• Installing and testing our innovative R&D and Pilot equipment at our location in De Meern, Utrecht.
• Guiding customers during FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests).
• Commissioning our installations on-site at the customer’s location.
• Troubleshooting and performing periodic maintenance.
• Training and guiding users on-site.
• Supporting customers with technical questions and malfunctions.
• Traveling to customers (25% to 50% of your time), often for a few days, never longer than two weeks. These customers may be located in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and America, as well as in Zwolle.

Who will you be working with and on what?

You will work together in a multidisciplinary team with engineers from various fields. Our installations are used worldwide in the food industry, often by large multinationals. This means complex systems, high demands on reliability, and a great deal of technical variety.

What do you bring?

• MBO-4 or HBO in a technical field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with or affinity for PLC controls.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English
• German, French, or Spanish is a nice plus.Residing within 50 km of our office and in the central Netherlands
