As leading suppliers of small-scale liquid process equipment, OMVE is committed to limiting the disruption of the business activities of its customers and partners.

To this end, we use protocols aimed at the health and safety of our employees and relations, as well as the continuity of services to our customers. These protocols are laid down in a Business Continuity Plan.

This plan may be adapted following the measures announced by the Dutch government to combat the COVID-19 virus: RIVM

Access to our offices

Opening hours of our offices remain unchanged, our production facility in the Netherlands remains open as well as long as permitted. However, there are no visitors allowed at any of our facilities.

Local support – visit to your facilities

Concerning travelling and visits to our clients facilities: OMVE will follow the rules and guidelines in place. Please get in touch with your contact at OMVE to assess your specific situation.

Sales & remote Support

Our Sales & Service teams are available as usual and will do their utmost to provide assistance. Investments have been made to facilitate remote support, with new solutions including Augmented Reality support. For more information, please call our help-desk (+31 303 072 660 or +1.437.538.3020).

Delivery times existing and new projects

At this time, the delivery time remains unimpacted. To effectively analyze the situation with regard to the delivery times, we are in frequent contact with our suppliers. We also take into account any transport restrictions that might affect delivery of our purchased components. In this context, we have already initiated various measures to avoid or to minimize any negative impacts on our supply chain.

As the situation evolves daily, our project leaders will update our customers regularly.

Contamination of employees

In order to prevent employees with comparable business-critical expertise from falling ill at the same time, we have split all departments into an A and B team. Every other week, one of these teams works completely at home. All employees have all the necessary facilities for working from home. These facilities, including a (VPN) connection and peripherals, meet the requirements for all employees to work from home simultaneously.

All appointments are postponed or converted into online meetings. The same applies to OMVE employees who work at locations in different countries.

If an employee is presenting symptoms that could correspond to an infection, this employee is quarantined at home as per current guidelines.
